After a while things get smelly and dirty... Even mattresses!
I found an amazing way to clean my mattress and make it smell fresh and removes all the dust mites and other nasty things left in your mattress over a period of time....
1 cup of baking soda
4 drops of lavender or lemon essential oil
Mix together and spread even on the mattress
Wait about an hour, use your vacuum hose and throughly vacuum the mattress
Baking soda helps draw up any moisture and deep dirtiness and deodorizes leaving the mattress smelling clean and fresh. The essential oil leaves a faint scent behind.
You will be surprised by the difference it makes. :)

Pizza Pizza Crust
I have been trying out homemade pizza crusts for a while now and have finally found the one that we both really like. It was easy and quick, I was so pleased with it... So I thought I would share.
Pizza Pizza Crust
1 (.25 ounces) package active dry yeast (2-1/4 teaspoons)1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2-1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1. Preheat oven to 450
2. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy. (about 10 minutes)
3. Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth (do not over beat) Let rest for 5 minutes.
4. Lighly flour surface then pat and roll into a circle. Transfer crust to lightly greased pan.
5. Add toppings and let bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
This make a nice thin crust or a thicker crust we made both. We added so garlic butter around the edges.
Sorry I don't have a picture... I will take one next time I make it and post it...

Spinach And Chicken Calzone
I got a new crockpot cook book for my birthday and decided to give it a go. I picked a Spinach And Chicken Calzone... And All I can say is YUMMY!!! It was really easy but you don't use the crockpot as much as I like to its a little more hands on but totally worth it.
Spinach And Chicken Calzone
2-3 chicken breasts
2 C. Chicken Broth
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 Tbsp. Onion Seasoning
1 Loaf Of Dough
1/2 C. Mushrooms
1/4-1/2 C. Spinach
1/4-1/2 C. Red Peppers
8 oz. Cream Cheese
Step 1: In the Crockpot, combine Chicken, Broth, Garlic, and Onion Seasoning
Step 2: Cover and cook on LOW for 3-5 hours.
Step 3: Remove Chicken from crockpot and shred. (Using 2 forks works GREAT)
Step 4: Put chopped Mushrooms, Spinach, and Peppers in bowl mix then add Cream Cheese
Step 5: Add Chicken with the mixture.
Step 6: Roll out dough and cut into strips. Place mixture in the center of each rectangle. Fold each rectangle over, then pinch the sides to seal. This forms a calzone :)
Step 7: Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
A Couple Notes: The recipe calls for freeze-dried veggies but i would rather use fresh. You can use Freeze-dried if easier for you. Also we added mozzarella cheese to some of ours to try it out. I think its just as good without. GOOD LUCK!!!

Homemade Fabric Softener
I found this AMAZING recipe for fabric softener that was super easy. When you break it down money wise you are saving so much. I went ahead and made me a batch, I did half it just to make sure I liked it.
Homemade Fabric Softener
Ingredients:
6 cups water
3 cups white vinegar
2 sups hair conditioner
Directions:
1. Mix water, vinegar, and hair conditioner; stir (Do not shake it; will
foam if you do so) It may take a few minutes to completely blend.
2.Use as you would normally in rinse cycle or spray it on a wash cloth and throw in the dryer.
Let me break down the price for you
Vineger: $3.83 for 1 gallon (yet you don't even come close to using that much)
Conditionar: $0.83
Water: Free (I did not use smart water; I just used the bottle for the example of water)
So for one gallon of fabric softener you are spending about $3.00 on average.
My towels and clothes are coming out amazingly soft and I am saving a few bucks. WIN WIN!
Try it out and see for yourself.
Thank you: http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/02/homemade-fabric-softener-finally.html

Four To Score/High Five

Four To Score
By:Janet Evanovich
Stephanie Plum is a magnit for TROUBLE! This book is full of cars blowing up, fires being set. There are a couple new characters, the first is Joyce Barnhardt. All i can say about her is a cheating, lying lady who needs to mind her own business. She is Stephanie's archenemy ever since sleeping with her ex-husband and even before that. Second new charater is Sally Sweet! Hello girl... a cross dressing drag queen. Stephanie needs his help and thats when things start to go sour.
Stephanie runs into some problems trying to fine Maxine and keeps running into dead ends. After everything horrible that could happen has, from one this too being homeless and broke, she moves in with Joe Morell... I have fallen head over hills for my favorite cop.

High Five
By:Janet Evanovich
In this book, Stephanie's Uncle Fred has gone missing, and her family thinks that she is just the one to find him. Uncle Fred's disappearance takes a sinister turn when his desk reveals photos of body parts. Every time Stephanie tries to find out what happened to him, all the people she interviews turn up dead.
A few random people like Randy Briggs a little person, he was just there to bug the crap out of Stephanie. No really importances.
Things get a little complicated by her attraction to 2 men in her life, her sexy cop friend Joe Morelli, and her mysterious work associate Ranger.
Mmmm I am loving Ranger in this book. He brings a breath of fresh air...
I am going to Keep Reading this series its so much fun!!! I have fallen in love with all the main people...

Three To Get Deadly

Three To Get Deadly
By: Janet Evanovich
Stephanie Plum is back in action, 6 months of the bounty hunter life. In this book she is givin the task of find Mo Bedemier, one of the most popular men in the burg. While trying to hunt him down drug dealers body's are being found dead. Could Mo the beloved figure of the burg be killing them?
This was the 3rd book and to me it was harder to get into. The bummer part about these books is that you know what is going to happen in a way... The main charter gets a job, gets threats, gets attacked, wins in the end...
But I have fallen in the love the the charters and will keep on trucking with this novel.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
My sister and brother-in-law made Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and they were amazing. I watched them and learned then tried them out myself. Easy and fun and they are sure YUMMY!!!
Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
CINNAMON FILLING:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, just melted (not boiling)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
CREAM CHEESE GLAZE:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
2-ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
PANCAKES:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil
Directions:
Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the filling into a quart-sized heavy zip baggie and set it aside (if you don't want to put in a bag don't worry about it we just used a spoon.)
Prepare the glaze: In a small pan, heat the butter over low heat until melted. Turn off the heat and whisk in the cream cheese until it is almost smooth. Sift the powdered sugar into the pan, stir and add in vanilla extract. Set the pan aside while you make the pancakes. (Make sure the cream cheese is room temp or it will be lumpy)
Prepare the pancake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the milk, egg and oil, just until the batter is moistened (a few small lumps are fine).
Cook the pancakes: Heat a large, nonstick skillet over medium-heat and spray with nonstick spray. Use the bottom of the scoop or cup to spread the batter into a circle (about 4-inches in diameter). Reduce the heat to medium low. Snip the corner of your baggie of cinnamon filling and squeeze the filling into the open corner. When your pancake begins to form bubbles, add the filling. Starting at the center of the pancake, squeeze the filling on top of the pancake batter in a swirl (just as you see in a regular cinnamon roll). Cook the pancake 2 to 3 minutes, or until the bubbles begin popping on top of the pancake and it's golden brown on the bottom. Gently but quickly flip it over. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until the other side is golden as well. When you flip the pancake onto a plate, you will see that the cinnamon filling has created a crater-swirl of cinnamon. Re-warm the glaze briefly, if needed. Serve pancakes topped with a drizzle of glaze.
I Loved it... It was really yummy and fun.
