Homemade Fabric Softener

I found this AMAZING recipe for fabric softener that was super easy. When you break it down money wise you are saving so much. I went ahead and made me a batch, I did half it just to make sure I liked it.

Homemade Fabric Softener

Ingredients:
6 cups water
3 cups white vinegar
2 sups hair conditioner

Directions:
1. Mix water, vinegar, and hair conditioner; stir (Do not shake it; will
foam if you do so) It may take a few minutes to completely blend.
2.Use as you would normally in rinse cycle or spray it on a wash cloth and throw in the dryer.

To Sum Up: I love it and will be making a larger batch with a different kind of smell. This conditioner does not carry over every well. The only negative thing is that I don't get the fresh smell as strong as I would like. I do get a little hint of the vinegar smell at times but it doesn't bother me at all.

Let me break down the price for you
Vineger: $3.83 for 1 gallon (yet you don't even come close to using that much)
Conditionar: $0.83
Water: Free (I did not use smart water; I just used the bottle for the example of water)
So for one gallon of fabric softener you are spending about $3.00 on average.
My towels and clothes are coming out amazingly soft and I am saving a few bucks. WIN WIN!
Try it out and see for yourself.

Four To Score/High Five

Four To Score
By:Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum is a magnit for TROUBLE! This book is full of cars blowing up, fires being set. There are a couple new characters, the first is Joyce Barnhardt. All i can say about her is a cheating, lying lady who needs to mind her own business. She is Stephanie's archenemy ever since sleeping with her ex-husband and even before that. Second new charater is Sally Sweet! Hello girl... a cross dressing drag queen. Stephanie needs his help and thats when things start to go sour.
Stephanie runs into some problems trying to fine Maxine and keeps running into dead ends. After everything horrible that could happen has, from one this too being homeless and broke, she moves in with Joe Morell... I have fallen head over hills for my favorite cop.

High Five
By:Janet Evanovich
In this book, Stephanie's Uncle Fred has gone missing, and her family thinks that she is just the one to find him. Uncle Fred's disappearance takes a sinister turn when his desk reveals photos of body parts. Every time Stephanie tries to find out what happened to him, all the people she interviews turn up dead.
A few random people like Randy Briggs a little person, he was just there to bug the crap out of Stephanie. No really importances.
Things get a little complicated by her attraction to 2 men in her life, her sexy cop friend Joe Morelli, and her mysterious work associate Ranger.
Mmmm I am loving Ranger in this book. He brings a breath of fresh air...

I am going to Keep Reading this series its so much fun!!! I have fallen in love with all the main people...

Three To Get Deadly

Three To Get Deadly
By: Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum is back in action, 6 months of the bounty hunter life. In this book she is givin the task of find Mo Bedemier, one of the most popular men in the burg. While trying to hunt him down drug dealers body's are being found dead. Could Mo the beloved figure of the burg be killing them?

This was the 3rd book and to me it was harder to get into. The bummer part about these books is that you know what is going to happen in a way... The main charter gets a job, gets threats, gets attacked, wins in the end...
But I have fallen in the love the the charters and will keep on trucking with this novel.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

My sister and brother-in-law made Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and they were amazing. I watched them and learned then tried them out myself. Easy and fun and they are sure YUMMY!!!

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
Ingredients:
CINNAMON FILLING:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, just melted (not boiling)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

CREAM CHEESE GLAZE:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
2-ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

PANCAKES:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil

Directions:
Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the filling into a quart-sized heavy zip baggie and set it aside (if you don't want to put in a bag don't worry about it we just used a spoon.)

Prepare the glaze: In a small pan, heat the butter over low heat until melted. Turn off the heat and whisk in the cream cheese until it is almost smooth. Sift the powdered sugar into the pan, stir and add in vanilla extract. Set the pan aside while you make the pancakes. (Make sure the cream cheese is room temp or it will be lumpy)

Prepare the pancake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the milk, egg and oil, just until the batter is moistened (a few small lumps are fine).

Cook the pancakes: Heat a large, nonstick skillet over medium-heat and spray with nonstick spray. Use the bottom of the scoop or cup to spread the batter into a circle (about 4-inches in diameter). Reduce the heat to medium low. Snip the corner of your baggie of cinnamon filling and squeeze the filling into the open corner. When your pancake begins to form bubbles, add the filling. Starting at the center of the pancake, squeeze the filling on top of the pancake batter in a swirl (just as you see in a regular cinnamon roll). Cook the pancake 2 to 3 minutes, or until the bubbles begin popping on top of the pancake and it's golden brown on the bottom. Gently but quickly flip it over. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until the other side is golden as well. When you flip the pancake onto a plate, you will see that the cinnamon filling has created a crater-swirl of cinnamon. Re-warm the glaze briefly, if needed. Serve pancakes topped with a drizzle of glaze.

I Loved it... It was really yummy and fun.

The end had a twist that surprised me. A few things to know about it is their was only a pumpkin roll in it once :) You don't need to read the first one to understand the characters.
